Update FINALLY!

Sorry it has been a while since I last blogged. It has been a little NUTS!!!! First of all I want to say a big THANK YOU to Katie! She updated my backdrop and added some blog list features. Isn't it cute??? Thanks Katie!

An update on us:
On August 29, we were officially HOMELESS! We are getting settled in at my moms. It has been really well except for Presley not wanting to sleep by himself. He said his new bed is "scary". So we take turns with him. I know it is only a matter of time and he will be fine. It is all just a little different for him. Bless his heart he hardly has any of HIS toys to play with so he has no clue what to think.

Our new house is coming a long. We drove by the other day and they are working on the footing. They were even working on Saturday morning early. I am going to go by tomorrow to take some pictures and I will post them as soon as I can. I think we will be in earlier than expected weather permitting. I have talked with the builder's wife who is also the one who gets everything in order and she said that once they get the footing done, then they will do the plumbing, lay the foundation, and then start the framing. She keeps me updated on what they are doing next so that is very helpful. We have been trying to look at bricks. I had no idea what a chore that was! There are so many colors to look at. Man do they look different out on the house than in the showroom. We think we have one picked out!!

School is going well. I have a very SWEET but TALKATIVE group this year. They are a good group of kids and I have had a great start this year. I look forward to such a great year of getting to know these kiddos. We have lots of training coming up so I will be in and out of the room quite a bit in the next few weeks. I know it will all be worth it b/c it is what we need to do for our students. Well I think that is all for now! I will post LOTS of random pics soon!! Keep checking back!
