Closing Day soon approaching and updates

If all goes well and weather permitting we are set to close around Feb. 26. We can not believe it is almost that time. It really has gone by fast. The main things they have left to do are to get the heating and air unit in and the house acclimated to warmer temperatures so they can lay the carpet and wood floors. They need to do LOTS of clean up in and out of the house, and do the dirt work outside and pour the driveway. The only big problem with the outside this week is that we are supposed to have 80-90% chances of rain from today until Wednesday! YIKES!! I can already picture our yard washing away or flooding since it is all dirt! I will just have to say an extra prayer that it doesn't rain as much as they say it will. After all, the meteorologists aren't right all the time, RIGHT?!?!!? =)

On another note, Presley woke up Saturday morning at 3:30 a.m. crying. He told me he had a bad dream. He wanted his dad and he told him his ear hurt. Since we were just getting over an ear infection, we had some ear drops and Josh gave them to him. They didn't help at all. So we were up the rest of the night. That morning Josh had to go to work so I called the drs. office to see if they thought I should take him in or not. As I was waiting for them to call back I called to see when our walk-in clinic opened. 9 a.m. It was only 7:30. He cried and cried and cried! I felt so sorry for him. So we decided to take him in. I got to ProMed at 9:01. I about fell in the floor when I saw ALL THE CARS there. I guess everyone had the same idea. Get there when they first opened. Well, we were there until about 10:45. Presley was in so much pain. He cried and fussed the WHOLE time we were there. I am sure he drove the other people completely nuts. I kept apologizing and they said "Hun, it is okay we understand we have kids too." Everyone there was very friendly. Turns out Presley's ear infection in his RIGHT ear was clearing up some but the antibiotic they gave him only killed part of the infection. The rest of the bacteria turned into a microbacterial blister in his LEFT ear. That antibiotic wouldn't have killed that type of infection. No wonder the drops weren't helping. It was probably stinging the crap out of his ear. He has to feel better because Tuesday is his 4th birthday!

We are celebrating his 4th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese with a Spiderman theme. I can not believe my baby is going to be 4. Man how time flies!
