Upward Basketball

Upward Basketball is in full swing. This is Presley's first year to play basketball. We had such a great experience with soccer, we thought we would try basketball. Our first game was last Friday night. He did so well. It took him a while to get warmed up but man once he did, he was really doing well. He even scored twice and we missed them both on film and picture. Great parent award I know! We had filmed so much and taken so many pictures that we both had just put them down and he scored! (although they don't keep score in Upward, ;) our team did well). We have been blessed to have gotten on great teams with awesome coaches for soccer and basketball. Upward is a great experience and I am so thankful for it. P wants to play baseball this year since we didn't last year b/c it was right when Kinley was born. Well he will start that SOON! He has to go through the draft and that is in February b/c he is old enough to play Boys and Girls Club! Kinda scares me a bit from what I hear but hopefully it will be a good experience, HA!!!

I can't believe he will be 6 in a month, seems like yesterday he was a baby!!! Well Friday night, he also spent the night with a friend. This was his 2nd sleepover. After his game he went with us to eat and they met us and picked him up. They went to rent movies and then to their house. They stayed up until about midnight and were up at 7:00. HE WAS SOOO EXHAUSTED! They just live a block over so if he had gotten scared he could've come home. They had such a good time and didn't fuss at all (per the mom, HA)! I think this friend may spend the night with us this weekend! Should be fun! :)

We had an unexpected snow day yesterday! I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of the boys playing in it. It was so cold and I didn't want to get little missy out in it. It started snowing Sunday afternoon and b/c it hit late in the afternoon it was so cold and the roads were too bad for us to go to school but they cleared off enough and we went back today! :)
