We had Kinley's party at our house Saturday! What a day we had. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. I had my kitchen table decorated as a "pink sweets" table. There were cotton candy ice cream cones, pink Peeps, snowballs, pink and white M&M's, chocolate covered pretzels, pink whoppers, cookies, etc. Then my dining room table was filled with the good grub! HA! We had sandwiches, quiches, BBQ wings, chips and dips, cheddar poppers, bagel bites, potato skins, veggies and dip, fruit and dip, etc. Kinley LOVED her cake. She devoured it. At first though she didn't know what to think. But once she got in it, she dug in. I got a pinata for the big kids. Each one got to swing at it. Then since none of the big kids busted it, we let my cousin who plays on our HS baseball team and is a future Razorback, hit it. He broke it open and they went to town. Oh and yes we had to have the Maters on TV. The guys couldn't handle it NOT being on. It was even on in the hospital the day she was born. I guess that will be a tradition every year at her party, LOL! I had so much fun getting ready for this day. It was such a great day even though I CAN'T believe my baby is ONE :(!!!!
