Catching up

Well it has been a busy few weeks. It is nearing the end of school and it seems as though CRAZY MODE has set in. With t-ball games 2-3 times a week, getting last minute assessments in for report cards, graduations (high school and college), and end of year stuff squared away for school, I have had NO TIME to sit down and update the blog. 2 of my 6 cousins (plus a fiance`) graduated so we had a party for them the other night. Well I had to get a picture of all the graduates. P will graduate from Kindergarten Thursday!! I can't believe he is fixing to be a 1st grader! He should still be a baby. He has had a great year. He is a reading and writing machine. His teacher assessed him on a reading level of I. By the end of Kindergarten they should be a C/D. So he is way above where he needs to be. He absolutely LOVES school and his teacher has been such a blessing to us!

Presley loves t-ball this year. He really wants to do well and he has been practicing with his dad and some friends (who also happen to be neighbors). We have been spending lots of time with family and friends and it has been a great time. Makes me so excited for summer! We don't have much planned. Small trips here and there. No big trip planned this summer.

Miss Kinley is babbling and talking up a storm. She says Mama, Dada, Bubba, Nana, Papaw, Danielle (in her own way, ha!), Cindy, Dow (they are our sitters), this, that, bye bye, etc. She is a big talker and I really don't know where she gets it from, LOL! ;) She is on the verge of walking. She will walk around the coffee table or anything that she can hold onto. The other day she held mine and Josh's hands and walked all around my parents deck. But as soon as you let go, she falls. I have a feeling the walking days are very soon!!! While it excites me, it also makes me realize she is going to be into everything even more than she already is now!!! HA! But she has to be walking by July 23 b/c that is when my cousin is getting married and she is one of the flower girls!!! She is growing up too fast. She is the sweetest things! The other night after one of Presley's games we went to eat with some of my family. She loves sitting in a big girl chair so we sat her by my aunt in the booth. She was giving my aunt a high five then she would turn her hand over for my aunt to giver her five. It was so cute! We had no idea she knew what to do. She is a smart little girl! I feel blessed to be a mommy to these 2 kiddos!
