Kindergarten Graduation

Well my big boy graduated form Kindergarten :(. I cried the whole day just thinking about it! They had a Pointer theme this year and it was so neat! They got to go to the field house and film in the weight room and told what they wanted to be when they grew up. P wants to be a bull rider! HA! The whole graduation ceremony was precious. They sang several songs and read poems but the neatest thing to me was that it was centered around our community. It was Peace, Love, and Pointers and they had green/white tye-died shirts and they even learned the Alma mater, the cheer they do at high school pep rallies, and the HS band came out and played!!! It was awesome. The part that hit me during this was when the band played b/c I realized that in 12 years I would be doing this for real and I just lost it. Thankfully all the moms around me were crying too HA!!! Mr. Presley received one of the highest honors of the day. On top of his diploma, he got a PE award, Technology award and Excellence award for all subject areas. But most of all we are proud that he got the Citizenship award. One boy and one girl from every class gets nominated and Presley got it for his class! We are so proud of him. His teacher said he is always doing the right thing even when not being told!! ( I was a little shocked ha!) We are so going to miss our Kindergarten teacher. She is awesome! She was so good to Presley this year and we can't thank her enough for all she did for him. He LOVES school and we have her to thank for that!! The first few days after school was out he cried and cried wanting to go back to her classroom. Hard to believe he is now a big first grader!!! But he is going to have an awesome first grade teacher as well! We are truly blessed and proud of Mr. Presley!!!!
