My precious grandma

My precious grandma went to be with Jesus Saturday night! This is my favorite picture of her with Kinley. It was taken at Easter! It has been one of the hardest losses in my life. She was the sweetest lady I knew. She would do anything for anyone. I remember as a child always going over there after school and watching Leave it to Beaver on their little black and white kitchen TV. I would eat one of 2 things: cheese popcorn and Hershey kisses or a ham sandwich. Yes either one would ruin my supper but grandma never cared. She said it was fine! HA! I also remember walking over to the corner store and getting a Coke icee and cheese Doritos. We would walk thru the alley to get there. I remember spending the night over there and playing school. Who knew that would turn out to be my career. She was a preschool teacher and then became a teacher's aide and would ALWAYS bring me home things to play "school" with. I LOVED it. I would stay in the back bedroom and play in there for hours! I have so many precious memories that there are too many to name them all. We would be here for hours! HA! I am at peace knowing she is in the arms of Jesus no longer in pain or suffering and that one day we will see each other again. What a sweet lady she was. We will miss you but know we have an extra special angel on our side looking out for us! :)
